Michael Rash Born 1959 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Don and Sally Rash. My father, Don Rash, was employed as a Chemical Engineer with Eastman Kodak, and in 1969 transferred to the Eastman Kodak facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Our family lived in Irmo, South Carolina, where I graduated Irmo High School in 1977. I attended the University of South Carolina. My father was also a private pilot and would take me flying as a kid. I enjoyed flying so much that I began taking flying lessons at age 15. I continued training to obtain my Airline Transport Pilot Rating. I worked as a Corporate Pilot for 9 years and became an Aircraft Broker and Vice-President of Bruce Jenner Aviation for 17 years. Always searching for new and exciting challenges, I continued my education and training to obtain both a Residential Builders license and Real Estate license. Since then, I have completed residential development, renovation and new construction projects, as well as listing and selling numerous homes and properties in and around the Lake Murray and surrounding areas.
